Training AIMS and OBJECTIVES
The course has been developed in order to:

• Encourage Close Protection Operatives to update themselves on new developments in the

Learning Outcomes
Close Protection Operatives will:

3. negotiate a reasonable budget related to Risk Level;

Training Plan

The Course Material is delivered in 11 units and covers all the essential skills

and knowledge required by today's Close Protection Operative.

 

MODULE 0: INTRO to Close Protection Operatives course:
About course structure, training principles, procedures, and the safety of drills.

 

MODULE 1: TREAT and RISK ASSESSMENT

Learn how to Analyse Risks and make a Risk Assessment, Negotiate a

reasonable Budget related to Risk Level;

 

MODULE 2: Team formation

Budget, expected task, Teamwork, Communication, Management and

Leadership, duties, and Sectors of Responsibility, specialties,

SOP(standard operational procedures), values, and traditions.

 

MODULE 3: OPERATIONAL PLANNING

build a TEAM, develop and implement a Plan of a Close Protection Operation, and develop

and use the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and

Immediate Action (IA) procedures.

 

MODULE 4: SURVEILLANCE AWARENESS/RECCE

Think that you are under surveillance until will be proven the opposite,

Anti-Surveillance procedures, Counter- Surveillance, Recce of Routes,

Venue Security, Recce of Vulnerable points, Recce Report.

 

MODULE 5: SEARCH PROCEDURES

A search of Persons, Search of Premises, Search of Vehicles.

 

MODULE 6: Recce

Preparation, execution, awareness, dynamic assessment, evaluation,

corrections.

 

MODULE 7: Execution of Operation - FOOT ESCORT

Sectors of Responsibility, Small Premises/Open space, Entry/Exit premises/

Stairs/Corridors, Anti Ambush drills.

 

MODULE 8: Execution of Operations - CONVOY

Embus/Debus, Position in Convoy/ Sectors of Responsibility, Teamwork, and

Synchronization of Driving, Convoy in Town/out of Town (spaces and cover),

Anti Ambush drills.

 

MODULE 9: CONFLICT MANAGEMENT

Reasonable Force, Levels of Power, Blending with the Crowd, Avoiding of

Provocations, Feeling, comfortable in a Crowd, to sort problems out instead of

making a new one.

 

MODULE 10: Empty Hand Combat for Bodyguards
